ISO 9001: 2008 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization : needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

 

ISO 20000-1: ISO 20000 is the first international standard for IT service management. It promotes the adoption of an integrated process approach to effectively deliver managed services to meet the business and customer requirements.

 

ISO 14000: The ISO 14000 environmental management standards exist to help organizations (a) minimize how their operations (processes etc.) negatively affect the environment (i.e. cause adverse changes to air, water, or land); (b) comply with applicable laws, regulations, and other environmentally oriented requirements, and (c) continually improve in the above.

 

OHSAS 18001: the OHSAS is a model management system for Health and Safety at Work, ie  the prevention of occupational hazards.

 

ITIL V3: The Information Technology Infrastructure Library is a set of best-practice publications for IT service management. ITIL gives detailed descriptions of a number of important IT practices and provides comprehensive checklists, tasks and procedures that any IT organization can tailor to its needs.

ISO 27001: ISO/IEC 27001 formally specifies a management system that is intended to bring information security under explicit management control. Being a formal specification means that it mandates specific requirements. Organizations that claim to have adopted ISO/IEC 27001 can therefore be formally audited and certified compliant with the standard.

 

ISO 9001: The ISO 9000  certification relates to quality management systems and are designed to help organizations ensure they meet the needs of customers and other stakeholders. ISO 9001 deals with the fundamentals of quality management systems including the eight management principles on which the family of standards is based.

PCI-DSS: The Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA-DSS), is the global security standard created by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council . PA-DSS was implemented in an effort to provide the definitive data standard for software vendors that develop payment applications. The standard aims to prevent developed payment applications for third parties from storing prohibited secure data.
